Crochet: two layered puff-stitch flower

How to crochet a two layered puff stitch flower?

Crocheting is a very interesting and 'useful' hobby.. There are various and various things you can create by spending some time on crocheting.. .

but, today I am going to show you, 'how to create a puff stitch flower with double layers or two layers' ..its very much simple and easy..you just need to learn some simple steps..

So, here is the step by step method of crocheting a double layer puff stitch flower:

Let's follow some simple steps,

Things you need:

A crochet hook ( size 6 )
Yarn thread of two colors
Scissors
Needle

Step By Step Method with pictures:

First of all take the yarn and the crochet hook (image 1)..

make a magic ring or knot.. (image 2)

chain three..then slip stitch into the first chain stitch (image 3)

Chain two..(image 1)

Make nine half double crochet into the center hole.. (image 2 and 3)

Slip stitch into the second chain stitch of the first half double crochet (image 1 and 2 )

Chain one (image 3 )

Then cut the thread 2 inches apart (using scissor) and pull it out in the direction of red arrow (image 4)

Then pull this thread upwards with full force to lock it completely..(image 5)

Then sew this thread inside (using needle)(image 6)

First round is completed!

Now, take the yarn of any color for petals..I will choose white!

Insert the hook into any of double crochet stitches of the yellow round and join the next color..chain three

Then work four triple crochet together in the next stitch.. See the image below..

Yarn over (twice) around the hook and insert the hook in the center of the next chain stitch, yarn over, draw the yarn through two loops..then again go through two..there is no need to finish the stitch..two loops are still remaining..because we need four together!..

then repeat the process until you've five loops.

Then draw the yarn and pass through all these five loops..chain three and slip stitch into the next chain stitch..first petal is ready..

Chain three again and work four triple crochet together ..then draw the yarn and pass through all these five loops..chain three again and slip stitch into the center of the next chain stitch..

Repeat the process until you have five petals ready..

Then slip stitch into the last chain stitch

First round of the petals is completed!
Chain two..

Turn the work..

Note that there are 'ten' stitches on the yellow round..(one of which i have selected with my hook) now work two half double crochets in each of the stitch..build a wall of a total of twenty half double crochets in these ten stitches..

When you are done slip stitch into the first half double crochet..

Chain three..

Now, what we are going to do is to repeat the same process of making the petals

So,

Work four triple crochets together into the next stitch.. Then slip stitch into the next chain stitch and chain three again..repeat..

For the last petal..make the petal with the same process and slip stitch into the last chain stitch..chain one..cut the thread and pull it out..pull it upwards with full force and it will be locked..then sew this extra thread inside..
